About Our Urethane Sheets
Urethane sheets, also known as polyurethane sheets, are high-performance polymer materials that offer superior durability, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance compared to traditional rubber. Our cast urethane sheets are manufactured to the highest industry standards and are available in multiple thicknesses (1/8" to 5/8"), durometers (40A to 90A), and sheet sizes (12"x12" to 48"x48").
We stock black and orange urethane sheets for immediate shipping, with custom colors, thicknesses, and durometers available upon request. All sheets feature a size and thickness tolerance of +/- .030" and are made in the USA for consistent quality and reliability.

Why Chose Polyurethane Sheets Over Rubber?
Superior Durability & Longevity
Urethane sheets last 5-10 times longer than traditional rubber sheets in high-wear applications. The material's exceptional abrasion resistance and tear strength make it ideal for demanding industrial environments.
Chemical & Oil Resistance
Polyurethane maintains excellent resistance to oils, greases, hydrocarbons, and many industrial solvents. This makes urethane sheets perfect for automotive, manufacturing, and food processing applications.
Wide Hardness Range
Available in durometers from 40A (very soft) to 90A (hard), urethane sheets can be selected to match your exact application requirements - from cushioning and vibration dampening to structural wear components.
Temperature Stability
Our urethane sheets perform reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 180°F, maintaining their physical properties across a wide operating range.
Load-Bearing Capacity
Superior compression set resistance and elastic memory mean urethane sheets maintain their shape under repeated loading, outperforming rubber in press brake applications and die cutting.

Frequently Asked Questions About Urethane Sheets
What's the difference between urethane and polyurethane?
Urethane and polyurethane refer to the same material. "Polyurethane" is the technical chemical name, while "urethane" is the common industry term.
How do I choose the right durometer?
Consider your application: softer durometers (40A-60A) for cushioning and vibration dampening, medium durometers (70A-80A) for general purpose, harder durometers (90A) for maximum wear resistance and load bearing.
Can urethane sheets be machined or cut?
Yes, urethane sheets can be easily cut with standard tools including band saws, circular saws, routers, and water jet cutting. If you want a quote on custom cut urethane parts, please reach out to us.
Are urethane sheets FDA approved?
Our natural/unpigmented urethane formulations can be made FDA compliant for dry food contact. Contact us for FDA food-grade options.
What's the shelf life of urethane sheets?
When stored properly (cool, dry, out of direct sunlight), urethane sheets have an indefinite shelf life and do not degrade like rubber.
